The Triple Open Pickleball Championship took place from June 20-23, 2024, marking our final APA event until the fall.
Anticipation was high for our first outdoor event of the season, but unfortunately, the weather had other plans. Heavy rain and thunderstorms persisted throughout all four days, forcing us to cancel half of our scheduled events, including all matches on Saturday.
Fortunately, we were able to relocate indoors on Sunday to complete our mixed doubles events. A special thank you goes to SWING Pickleball and Andrea Williams for graciously hosting us at their beautiful facility in Collingwood. We greatly appreciate all the athletes who made the trip.
Despite the challenges posed by the weather, we adapted as best we could to ensure the tournament continued.
